I find myself stuck on that verse. It’s not easy to work out one’s calling is it? More than that it’s not easy to understand just where the current understanding of the role of the priest/pastor/minister comes from ….
The end of chapter 5 is interesting too …. but am I listening to what it really says I wonder. To me it speaks of the need for mentoring and disicpleship – and in the light of yesterday’s passage – also time with God deepening our relationship with him because that’s where our growth as Christians comes from (1 Cor 3)
